Almond world

These are all almond cakes . These are the traditional almond cakes. Although decorated differently this is the basic wedding cake in Malta. This cake has a soft almondy centre and is covered with homemade fondant icing. I also made some matching cupcakes :-) which although not perfect came kind of cute and I am please with the outcome.

  4. Thanks everyone for the comments. Re fondant i don't like the commercial fondant it tastes awful. The one i use taste yummy or at least for me. I just use gelatine, icing sugar, liquid glucose and some water.
