These are my first buttercream roses. The cupcakes are vanilla cupcakes with almond filling. and decorated coloured vanilla buttercream. What's better than a bouquet of roses and cupcakes in one gift :)
wow, i just found your blog through katie's (at summertree cafe) and i love it! you make some of the most beautiful and amazing baked goods!!!! i'm so jealous of your talent! great blog!
You are skillful, I remember helping my mother make wedding cakes and had so much fun, we would use (natural food coloring)?? Paste/gel, and artfully color the pastry bag making stripes around the bag, then insert the cream/icing- I'd love to have directions to do this, I would love to try.. the cupcakes are so beautiful!! Is it possible to get a thick cream using full fat cream with milk (half/half)? Adding some butter?
Thank you SO much for the sweet comment you left on my blog! I'm awe-struck by all of your fabulous creations (I'm trying to catch up with all of your posts)! Your blog is such an inspiration to a beginning cake-decorator like me! :0)
Snooky, I've been studying your roses trying to figure out how you got the dges to look this way. They look so delicate. Is it a particular type of nozzle?
