Dora party cake

This is the last addition t my Dora cakes. It s a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and decorated with fondant/ sugarpaste and royal icing.

Cows cake

This is my last cake addition. It's a cow themed cake. It's a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and covered with sugarpaste. The cows are made of sugarpaste/fondant too. Cute eh! I was really happy with the outcome.

Karate cake

This consisted of a vanilla cake speckled with chocolate shavings, filled with a cookie dough frosting and covered with chocolate ganache. It's then decorated with sugar paste/fondant.


ok not a great cake. I could have done better. I made this cake for my boyfriend. Can you imagine what he 's crazy about? If you said Karate you guessed it. High School Musical

This is my second High school Musical cake. Hope you like it .Again it's a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and covered with sugarpaste/fondant

Hollywood cake

 

This was a very unusual order. Oh I like it.I got really creative with this cake. It was Hollywood themed and what you see is the result. This consists of a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and all decorated with fondant and royal icing.

Dora cake

This cake I've done it a while ago. It's a vanilla cake filled with whipped cream and covered with sugarpaste/ fondant. Dora themed cakes are very populat although not as much as Ben 10 cakes :)

Snow white cake

One of my latest creations. Ups you know what! I don't remember what flavor this cake was. With all the cakes I m making I 'm getting mixed up. Maybe it was a vanilla cake with strawberry jam. Yeah think so. For sure it's covered with fondant and royal icing.

Draughts cake

This is a traditional almond torte. Very popular in Malta and I've already posted several ones. Sometimes this torte is made from ground almonds substitute obviously it's much cheaper and less tasty.I prefer the taste of pure ground almonds and only use those in my cakes and bakes.

I decorated this cake as draughts board made of sugar paste/fondant. Everything is edible except the cake board :)

Blackberry cream cupcakes

I made these cupcakes a few weeks ago when I still had some blackberries available. I used a basic vanilla cupcake, to part of the batter I added some squashed blackberries and tho others I added whole blackberries. For the frosting I just whipped some cream and added some mashed blackberries (very few).
Help: can anyone suggest a good cream cheese frosting recipe?

Blackberry tart

This is my first fruit tart. I had some blackberries and wished to used them for a dessert. I decided to make a blackberry tart. I didn't know where to start so I searched on the onternet and came across this recipe . It was delicious. Usually I don't like fruit tart especially those with pastry cream but this one I really liked it. I glazed the blackberries with homemade plum jam/jelly. Delicious!
