IC:Earth - Challenge 002 - Basil

So this is my second entry in IC:Earth. This month the ingredient chosen was basil. It was really difficult to choose ingredients to match basil since apart from pasta sauce I use it for nothing else. Should I do a pasta cupcake ??? No. However I managed to combine some ingredients and for this month I present you a Basil, tomato and chocolate cupcake soaked with Creme de Cacao, basil syrup and a basil, chocolate ganache frosting.
ToVOTE please go to http://mkecupcakequeen.blogspot.com/ between September 28 to October 1st. Voting starts and ends at noon. So don't forget please!

Again this month there are wonderful prizes to be won. These are :
Featured prize from the talented Etsy Artist Metal Sugar
Cool Head Chefs utensils by Fiesta Products
A nice cupcake book Hello! Cupcake by Karen Tack and Allen Richardson
A crafted nice apron from Jessie Steele Aprons
A very important tool for any cupcaker, a Cupcake Courier&
a publication of Taste of Home magazine.
