Lion King

I made this cake for an August birthday. Since the star sign in August is Leo I made a lion cake. This is a chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache and walnuts and covered in butter cream. It is another big cake but since the lion is the king of the jungle it deserves it :-)

That's amazing. The pastry tip you used makes the frosting actually resemble lion hair... yes I know that sounds weird, but it's a compliment in this case :) Beautiful job!

This took me a while to make. I used an icing tip which has alot of small holes to make the fur.

I know the lion's fur was probably a lot of work! even with a "fur" tip! It's so time-consuming and difficult on your hands as I recall! Great job! It looks like such a cute lion!
