This is my fist pecan pie the recipe comes from Joy of Baking. I had never eaten a pecan pie before.I'm glad I tried this recipe cause it's delicious. Mmmmm..... I LOVE pecan pies! My granny would sit out on the front porch shelling pecans for hours & bake pies for everyone she knew. I haven't tried it in the mini form, but it looks devilishly good.

I had my first pecan pie when I was an exchange student for high school in Kentucky. Oh..I think I decided then that it is my ultimate pie!! It's hard to find good ole Southern pecan pie in Toronto, and I feel too guilty to make it on my own and gobble it all by myself. Haha. So eating a piece or two of pecan pie is my first to do list whenever we visit Ky. :D
